Undoubtedly one of Germany’s most popular landmark with around 20,000 visits in a day, Cologne Cathedral is the largest Gothic Church and a renowned German Catholicism Monument in Germany and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Construction of the Cathedral began in 1248 but was halted in 1473 only to be restarted in 19<sup style="box-sizing: border-box;">th</sup> century and was completed in 1880. The height and width of the cathedral is 474ft and 284ft respectively. Despite left incomplete, Cologne Cathedral is still a masterpiece of exceptional intrinsic value.</div>

4) Frauenkirche</h3>

Frauenkirche is a Lutheran Church located in Dresden which is the capital of Saxony. With one of the largest domes in Europe, Frauenkirche is said to be the perfect example of Protestant Sacred Architecture. It was built in the 18<sup style="box-sizing: border-box;">th</sup>century and was destroyed in the bombings of World War II. At first, it was decided that the remaining would be left as a war memorial but later on after reunion of Germany, the church was reconstructed on 30 October 2005 using original layouts. New Golden Tower Cross was made by a British Blacksmith and was funded by the British People and the Royal House of Great Britain.</div>
