The Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe is a Roman Catholic Church of Mexico in
Mexico City. The Basilica is one of the most important pilgrimage sites of
Catholicism. The present church was constructed on the site of an earlier church
named the Old Basilica. When this Basilica became dangerous due to sinking, New
Basilica was built next to it. The Basilica is visited by several million people
every year, especially around 12 December, Our Lady of Gradalupe’s Feast
Day.

Zocaloo, officially known as Plaza de la Constitucion, is the main plaza

since Aztec times, as this was used to be the official place for main events
like Mexica Ceremonies, swearing in of Viceroys, military parades and many more.
It is also the main venue for both National Celebration and National Protest.

2) Teotihuacan
Teotihuacan was a pre-Columbian Mesoamerican city located in the valley of
Mexico but today, it known as the site of most architecturally significant
Mesoamerican pyramids built in the pre-Columbian Americas. The Pyramid of the
Sun built around 100AD is the largest pyramid in all of the Mexico. Apart from
Pyramids, Teotihuacan is also famous for its complex, multi-family compounds,
the Avenue of Dead and many more.
1) Chichen Itza
Chichen Itza is the largest of the Maya cities in the Yucatan Peninsula and
had the most diverse population in May World. It is one of the most visited
archaeological sites in Mexico with around 1.2 million tourist visit every year.
The most famous landmark of Chichen Itza is the temple Pyramid of El Castillo
which is 99 feet high. Chichen Itza is the most developed of the many Mayan
ruins and has been included in the list of “New Seven Wonders of the
World”.
