1. ÃŽle aux Cerfs


ÃŽle aux Cerfs is a small Island in Mauritius and is surrounded by other small islands, is near to coast of the island of Mauritius in the Flacq District. The island had five star property, with nests a golf course and beautiful beaches. Many tourist visit this island and spend whole day on the island and they enjoy the water sports activities. There is best India restaurants, where you the delicious and best food. There actually came to the lle Aux Cerfs in order to enjoy the beach, where we find some gorgeous white sand beaches on eastern coast. The beach water is crystal clear and infused by small sea plants, but it is not deep at all so that one has to get out very far in order to be covered by water up to the belly. But the swimmers and snorkeling people won’t come to their costs at all.

2. Black River



Black River (Riviere Nore) is located in Mauritius on the western side of the island. Riviere Nore is translates to Black River. And the island neighborhood is Flic en Flac, Tamarin, Chamarel. The Black River Gorges is the largest national park of Mauritius. This region receives less rainfall than the others. The park is situated in 6,574 hectare and was named as natural reserve in 1994. The Riviere Nore district has smallest population.

3. Flacq



Flacq is the district of Mauritius, and situated in the east of the island. Here tourist visit to take boats for tours on lle Aux Cerfs island. Belle Mare, an exotic beach with white sand and nice lagoon.

4. Grand Port



Grand Port is a district situated in the east of the island, in Mauritius. Grand Port is named after village of ‘Old Grand Port’ which saw the first Dutch landing and the first port of the island. 

5. Moka


Moka is a village in Moka district, in Mauritius. The Moka is directly on the other side of Moka Range from Port Louis. The village is close to the mountain Le Pouce and the town Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill. And many people like to visit here. 

6. Pamplemousses


Pamplemousses Garden is formally known as Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, Botanical Gardens, in honour of the man who let the island to independence, located in Pamplemousses in North of Mauritius, nearby Port Louis. The beautiful botanical garden where you can find water lilies. It is said that Pamplemusses got its name from a citrus plant imported from the Dutch called Pamplemoucier.

7. Plaines Wilhems


Plaines Wilhems is a district of Mauritius. Plaines is the most popular, many tourist visit and spend time there. The towns has Beau-Bassin Rode-Hill, Curepipe, Quatre Bornes and Vacoas-Phoenix. 

8. Port Louis (Capital of Mauritius)



Port Louis is the capital Mauritius, there is an International airport. It is situated on the north-west coast, it was founded by the French governor and colonist Bertrand-Francois Mahe de La Bourdonnais in 1735. This place offers us colorful spectacles and a wealth of culture. The Port is home to the biggest port facility in the Indian Ocean region and one of Africa’s major financial centers. 


9. Rivière du Rempart


Riviere du Rempart District is a district of the island Mauritius, is located in the northeast of the island. There are few large towns like Grand Baie or the Grand Gaube. 

10. Flic-en-Flac


Flic-en-Flac is a seaside village on the western part of the island of Mauritius in the district of Riviere Noire. It is the beautiful place, beach are awesome white sandy beach is of the longest and nicest on the island, its lagoon is protected by the surrounding coral reefs, the beach provide spectacular views over the Indian Ocean horizon. The Flic-en-Flac is also home to some of the most luxury hotels in Mauritius.

11. Savanne


Savanme is situated in south of the island in Mauritius. The southern part of the island is one of the most scenic and unspoilt.

12. Pieter Both Mountain


Pieter Both (Mountain) is mountain and is second largest mountain of Mauritius. It is 820 m tall. The mountain is shorter that Piton de la Petite Riviere Noire by eight meters. Pieter both named after the first Governor-General of Dutch East Indies. It is located in the Moka Range, the mountain feature of this mountain is the gigantic rock formation at the top of it. To climb the mountain following the main ridge takes about an hour, and is mildly difficult. The top is flat and about six feet across.

13. Tamarind Falls


Tamarin Fall is a waterfall and is situated on the central plateau, near the small village of Henrietta, in Mauritius. Tamarin Fall is the one canyon of the island and tourist visit here. It is most famous for activities.

14. Chamarel Falls


Chamarel is a village in Mauritius, is located in Riviere Noire District, the eastern part of the village also lies in the Savanne District. The small village is famous for the seven color earth. Chamarel make park of the west southwest tour and excursion. There is Chamarel falls, which is most beautiful and attractive. All of this magnificent view has been created by volcanic rocks. 

15. Ganga Talao


Ganga Talao is a crater lake situated in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne, deep in the heart of Mauritius. Ganga Talao also known as Grand Bassin. The place is considered as sacred lake since 1998 because it has said that the lake is connected to the Ganges River in India. The lake is around one thousand hundred feet above the sea level. Every year the Hindu pilgrims from Mauritius walk to the Ganga Talao bare feet from their house.
